My name is Daniel F. Zvonek.  I was born and raised in Oklahoma where I liver for 34 years.  As a result of a job transfer, I moved to Scottsdale, AZ, in 1975.  In 1986, I started a plastic injection molding company which I owned and operated until December of 2000.  Since then, I have been pursuing my passion of knife making full time.  I now reside in New River, AZ, where I have a fully equipped shop.

I have been part-time knife maker since 1985.  I sold my first three hunting knives in 1986 and that made full-time knife making a real goal.  I make various types of knives, i.e., folders, bird and trout, hunters, fighters, art and bowie.  As an avid reader, I draw on ideas from magazines and books as well as the customer.  Many of my knives are from my own design.  ATS-34 and 154CM are the primary steels used in my knives.  Each piece is crafted by me from bar stock.

I have been a member of the Arizona Knife Collector's Association since the early '90's.  As a member of the Association, I have drawn on the expertise and encouragement of the members.  I have participated in local shows since 1995.  As in my business from 1986 to 20000, quality control and customer satisfaction are paramount.
